My "Why" as an Artist & the Heart of My Art

Art is where I come back to myself.

I’ve always loved being creative. As a child, I spent hours drawing, painting, and getting lost in my own little world. But when it came time to choose a career, I went down a more practical path and studied economics — something I also really love! Today, I work part-time as a strategy manager, and the other part of my life is dedicated to my art… and to being a mom.

When I became a mother, everything changed. Suddenly, my time wasn’t mine anymore — but in those quiet moments, like during nap times, I picked up my brushes again. Painting gave me a sense of peace and purpose. It was something just for me — a way to feel like myself in the middle of all the roles I was juggling.

Over time, I realized I wanted art to be more than a hobby. I wanted to share the feelings it gave me — calm, focus, and a little spark of joy

I started with wildlife paintings, combining realistic details with abstract elements. These paintings are full of emotion and connection — between humans and nature, between strength and softness. They were my first way of expressing myself through art, and I still return to them when I want to connect with that raw energy.

Later, I felt drawn to something quieter. That’s when I started creating abstract textured paintings — a very different style, but just as meaningful. These artworks are more about stillness, simplicity, and letting go. They’re inspired by my daily life as a mom and a working woman — by the small, quiet moments that keep me grounded.

Painting helps me slow down. It gives me space to breathe and focus — especially when life feels loud and full.

I hope my art brings that same feeling to others. Whether it’s a sense of calm, a smile, or simply something beautiful to look at — my wish is that my paintings feel like a little moment of home.
